Ways to Improve English

I know it might be a rocky road to proficiency in English, but achievers or over-achievers tend to find ways to help themselves solve problems and better themselves at what they do... Therefore, I'm opening this discussion for you to comment on and share your ideas! I am telling you gals and lads: I expect a lot from you! Cheers!

Books on the Floor

I loved the metaphor of library with books on the floor for the Internet. This vast source of information has to be dealt with delicately and professionally.

This "unregulated, disorganized pile of information" (http://www.teachers.tv/video/5425) needs to be validated and checked in order no to be misguided.

I think and I hope that next year, I will include web literacy (Search engines, how to do research on the Internet, how to validate and check the websites we're using) in my orientation sessions and start off with more web-conscious students who will form habits of using the web more efficiently and actively.

This is totally my plan with my students next year.
