It is a historic event for sitting Obama President of the USA, He won Nobel Peace Prize. He is a very good president. Washington Post blogger Ezra Klein said: "Obama awarded Nobel Prize in chemistry. He's just got great chemistry.Nobel committee." this sentence is very signifant something. BUTT it's problems!! South Carolina Republican Joe Wilson shouted "You Lie!". This president is giving $2.7 million for WAR's outburst.In the end, He's removed hundreds of thousands of dollars BECAUSE FLORİDA DEMOCRAT ALAN GRAYSON WAS CRİTİCİZED BY MANY BODIES. This is very upset!!yess! =/
Yes, Obama is better than Bush. It's fact. I can't say anything about that but Nobel Prize is a serios organization. Obama can be a good person and a good presedent but we should ask ourselves his acts is enough for winning a prize? He could do really good things but the point is winning a prize! He is trying to change something in U.S! Only try! And we shouldn't forget their previous presedent started Iraq and Afghanistan wars. They have to stop these wars. Stopping these wars are Obama's job. He only did what he has to do.İf this prize is a serious thing the should wait and see what will happen in future? İs he good in his job or not? Will he do something another his assignments? Only solve Iraq and Afghanistan issue doesn't enough to win this prize!
P.S: I'm not contradict to Obama. I really appreciate Obama I'm only talking about prize. Although he is better than the other nominees it doesn't mean he is good enough.
I am definitely agree with Isat. Yes friends, you are right he is a successful president maybe but winning the Nobel prize couldn't be easy like that. It's too early to win the prize for Obama.
I agree with isat and gülvan. Because Obama only talk.He don't solve the problems. Four or five months ago he came to Turkey and said some things about peace. One of them is, he said 'we don't fight, we want peace in the world. We will pull our soldiers in Iraq.' but he don't keep his word.On the other hand I believe that he is better than Bush, but it isn't enough to win the nobel prize. Some of the writer in this article said,'Obama deserve nobel prize.' I don't agree.
My God! I agree with the girls here! Isat, Gulvan,and Hilal in that this prize should be given to people who deserve it by doing something tangible and beneficial for the humankind... And I disagree with Rahime and Burak because being better than the worst doesn't mean a thing to me, but maybe I am biased and I have to change my mindset, I don't know! And I agree with Nese and Eren because I don't trust Obama, either! Maybe we're a bunch of paranoids, but we'll have to wait ann see then! Cheers girls and boys! You don't stop amazing me!
I agree with this idea "Apparently Nobel prizes are now being awarded to anyone who is not George Bush". Yes, his behaviour is better than Bush and also he is a sympathic president. But it don't mean that he is wery good at everything, also chemistry. I believe that other people are very good at chemisty, too and deserve this prize. It can be given to another people...
